GHS will host its 4th annual Lip Sync Contest on Thursday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Class of 2021.

UPDATE: MORP rescheduled due to weather

Due to the forecast for inclement weather and potentially dangerous road conditions Saturday, April 14, school officials decided to reschedule the MORP (GHS senior dance). The new date for this event is Saturday, May 5 at the same location and time: Perthshire, from 7:00-11:00 p.m.

New York State Excelsior Scholarship

Attention GHS seniors: The Excelsior Scholarship application for the 2018-19 academic year is now open! The scholarship, in combination with other student financial aid programs, allows eligible students to attend a SUNY or CUNY college tuition-free. More information about the Excelsior Scholarship

GHS teacher named NYS Master Teacher

GHS science teacher Jennifer Hazzard is the first Gloversville educator to be selected for the New York State Master Teacher program. GHS drama club, Scitamard, will present its fall play, “My Son Pinocchio Jr.” on Dec. 1-2. Performances are Friday at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students, age 4 and under are free. More information about the performance
