Local author, war veteran visits GHS

East Greenbush native Ryan Smithson, an Iraq War veteran who wrote the book "Ghosts of War: The True Story of a 19-Year-Old GI," visited GHS Friday, March 24, speaking with students about growing up, his time in the military and his life since his return from the Army.

Clothing and book giveaway set for April 1

The Gloversville Teachers Association will sponsor a clothing and book giveaway Saturday, April 1 from 9 a.m. until noon. It will be held at the McNab Elementary School cafeteria. Come grab a bag and get some books and clothes. Everything will be free!

Father-Daughter Dance tickets available

A Father-Daughter Dance is set for 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at Gloversville Middle School. Female students from pre-school to 12th grade and the special guiding, guarding man in their lives are invited to dress up in semi-formal attire and join in the dining, dancing and fun. read more and download form

Planning for the 2017-18 school year will begin when students return from the holiday break. The Program of Studies is available to help planning for the upcoming school year.
