GESD to seek additional community feedback at Oct. 17 public forum
The GESD has scheduled another public forum to seek additional community feedback regarding the possible reconfiguration of school buildings and the district’s instructional delivery model.
GHS holds pep rally, crowns Homecoming king and queen

Crowd comes out for Homecoming bonfire
On Thursday, Sept. 22, Gloversville High School hosted a celebratory bonfire as part of the school's newly expanded Homecoming activities.
GHS Fan Appreciation Day set for Sept. 24
The Gloversville Athletic Department will sponsor a Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Homecoming football game vs. Scotia-Glenville at 2 p.m. Fans will be admitted free! Donations will be accepted for future homecoming events at the game.
Lead testing underway in Gloversville schools
To help ensure the health of students and staff, the district is testing drinking water sources for lead contamination in all seven school buildings, the concession stands at athletic facilities and the transportation center.
GHS Homecoming events set for Sept. 22-25
Gloversville High School will expand its Homecoming festivities this year adding a celebratory bonfire and fireworks for the community. The festivities will begin Thursday, Sept. 22 with a bonfire from 7-9 p.m. at Gloversville Middle School.
Fall Family Fun Day set for Sept. 24
The GESD is partnering with the HFM Prevention Council for a Fall Family Fun Day on Sept. 24 at Park Terrace from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The GHS Homecoming Football Game will follow at 2 p.m. with Homecoming fireworks set for that night at GHS.
GESD students receive Chromebooks for academic use
Recognizing the important role technology
plays in the modern educational process, the GESD this year is
providing Chromebook computers to all middle and high school
students for use during the school day and at home.
GESD taxes payable by mail, online or at the district business office
Property tax bills have been mailed to
homes in the Gloversville Enlarged School District. Taxes are
payable by mail, online or in person at the GESD Business Office.
