Pre-k students learn about pets

To help them learn about their community and pets, Bobbi Jo Haverly of the Gloversville Regional Animal Shelter recently visited Trinda Sweeney's pre-kindergarten class at Park Terrace. She brought with her Ross, a certified therapy dog. see photos

Park Terrace PTA provides activities for students during conferences

During the Parent Teacher Conferences that were held Nov. 15 and 16, the PTA at Park Terrace provided parents with crafts, treats, and games for children that were not attending conferences. There was also a book swap. see photos

Crosswalk safety enhanced at Park Terrace

New "push to walk" buttons have been installed on the crosswalk signals on Bloomingdale Avenue at the Park Terrace Elementary School entrance. Pedestrians should push the button, and wait for a "walk" signal before crossing the street. Read more
