911 call initiates Park Terrace lockdown

At approximately 10:05 a.m. Thursday, June 20, the Gloversville Police Department initiated lockdown procedures at Park Terrace Elementary School after a phone call was placed to 911 from a classroom in the building. GMS students create pixel art for library contest

Recently, the Gloversville Middle School Library held a Pixel Art Contest. Teams submitted a design and then were allowed a week to create their pixel art window display using only Post-It notes and tape. Eleven teams participated in the contest. ELA class makes donation to local food pantry

Sophomores in Ms. Stephanie Alam’s English Language Arts class recently brought in food donations for the Gloversville Senior Citizen Food Pantry.  Students Adam LaPort, Hannah Kincheloe, and Liberty Eckhert assisted in delivering the donations to the Senior Center. Student donates thousands of pull-tabs to charity effort

Park Terrace Elementary School second-grader Jaxen Gray recently brought in 50,131 soda top pull-tabs to donate to the PTA’s fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  Gray and his family, with the help of family friend Maureen Phelps, have been collecting the pull-tabs for some time.
