-10% will be randomly selected to be tested ex. 100 athletes - 10 will be selected

-Testing will be done by our school, GESD is a certified lab

-The test is a shallow nose swab - very low invasive (BINAX NOW test)

- Results occur in 15 minutes

- Student-Athletes will be tested in a large space and stay in their area distanced from others until their results are determined

- If negative, the student will be given a letter to take home that states their child was tested and was negative for COVID-19.

- If a student is positive, the parent/caregiver will be contacted immediately and the student will stay isolated from others until they are picked up. The student must follow the 10 day isolation protocol that will be explained to them and contact tracing will begin.
