Boulevard Elementary without power

“Boulevard Elementary School has lost power and phones due to a tree falling on a power line several blocks away. Instruction is continuing by natural light and we are feeding all students a cold lunch. All classrooms have been visited and students are comfortable and in good spirits. We are not dismissing early due to high winds in the vicinity and the lack of notice to parents and guardians who don’t have supervision arrangements in place. We know the students are safe here with us and will keep them for the duration of the school day.
If parents prefer to pick up their child early, we fully understand. If you do so, please be prepared to show ID as our Raptor System is not working with the loss of power.
All toilets, sinks and drinking fountains are operational and we are confident that all are safe and in good hands.
Boulevard phones are down as well, but central office can be reached at 518 775-5791 and will relay any important message to the school.”
Thank you
