General Voting Information
On the third Tuesday of each May, residents from across New York State go to the polls to vote on the following year’s school district budget and to elect members of the Board of Education. In early May, Gloversville residents can expect to receive in the mail a copy of the district’s budget newsletter, which highlights the proposed budget that residents will vote on. Budget information will be posted on the website, as well.
To be eligible to vote, a person must be 18 years old by the date of the school budget vote or capital project referendum, a U.S. Citizen, a resident of the Gloversville Enlarged School District for at least 30 days prior to the vote date, and a registered voter.
