GHS Lockdown

The Gloversville High School went into a lockdown today shortly after dismissal. A phone call was placed to the Gloversville Police Department stating there was an individual with a gun in the building. This report was a prank phone call, and the individual has been identified and is already in custody. That being said the Gloversville High School did go into a lockdown and is currently being cleared room by room per protocol. There is no threat to students or staff in the building.

The Gloversville Enlarged School District appreciates the quick response from the local authorities as we continue to cooperate with one another in order to insure the safety of our students, staff and buildings.
