POSTPONED: GHS to unveil Military Wall

Please note: The Military Wall event at Gloversville High School, originally
scheduled for Monday, Sept. 10 at 4:30 p.m., has been postponed to a future date. The new date and time will be posted on the website once it has been decided.

The wall honors GHS graduates who served in the armed forces in times of war or peace. The tribute wall, which has been a year in the making, will be located in the lobby adjacent to the gymnasium at Gloversville High School. The military wall is a collaboration between Gloversville High School Principal Richard Demallie, Assistant Principal Dennis Bye, a veteran himself, and Gloversville resident and U.S. Navy veteran Frank Craven.

Barney’s Signs in Johnstown helped design and create the wall.
