GMS students create pixel art for library contest

Recently, the Gloversville Middle School Library held a Pixel Art Contest. Teams submitted a design and then were allowed a week to create their pixel art window display using only Post-It notes and tape.

Eleven teams participated in the contest. Entries included: Gloversville Baseball, Sunflower, Torchic, Ice Cream Cone, Pikachu, OWO, Butterfly, Pac-Man, Kermit The Frog, Tokyo Ghoul Kaneki, Snapchat, and Rainbow Heart. Staff and students voted for their favorite pixel art in the library.

The winning pixel art is Kermit The Frog created by 7th graders: Kamryn Meher, Gabriella Lamphear, Shiasia Williams, and Jacey O’Dell. They were each awarded a special prize! The artwork will be displayed for the rest of the school year.
