Grade 10 Sidewalk Poetry Project

With colorful chalk in hand and a canvas of concrete, English 10 students recently shared powerful words of published poets or inspirational verses they had written themselves on the sidewalk outside Gloversville High School.

The project culminated in a day of sharing as the students wrote their chosen lines in colorful chalk on the sidewalk in front of the Gloversville High School on May 24 and 25. English teachers said that both days were filled with sun and fun, and their students enthusiastically participated in this annual classroom activity.
