Park Terrace Veterans Parade

Twenty-five veterans participated in the annual Veterans Day Parade at Park Terrace Elementary School on Friday, Nov. 9. The veterans walked with student family members through the hallways of the school and were cheered on by students and staff as they marched to patriotic music.

Following the parade, the elementary PTA provided a reception with cake, cider and coffee to the veterans and parade participants. Park Terrace is extremely proud to support all those who are serving or have served in the military. The Park Terrace parade was the culminating event as students learned about the importance of the military in our lives and what Veterans Day is all about.
