Remote learning to continue into spring break

“I hope this letter finds you all well. My previous message indicated that instruction would halt for the entirety of spring break recess is no longer the case. The Governor has since directed us to continue remote learning through Tuesday, April 14, 2020. If the current school closure is extended beyond the 14th, remote learning is to continue as well. The Governors order dictates that schools are required to provide continuity of instruction, meals for students and childcare resources for essential workers every weekday, including days originally part of the previously scheduled spring break

If the closure is not extended, we will return to school onsite on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. We will continue to monitor all available guidance and directives and keep you informed if this changes

We know that the information in this Executive Order and the situation, in general, continues to raise questions and concerns. I apologize for the mixed messages, but the Governors order must be adhered to. We do not have a choice. Students, please plan to continue remote learning through Tuesday, April 14, 2020, as well as the days following, if the closure is extended

If you wish to read the Executive Order, it can be found here

Thank you all for your continued patience.
Stay hopeful and stay healthy
