All school tax payments must be made by mail (check or money order) or online (credit, e-check)
Beginning this September, the Gloversville Enlarged School District will no longer collect school taxes at its Business Office located in the middle school building. District officials have decided to discontinue the practice of receiving in-person payments for safety and security reasons.
The district offers the following two options for paying school taxes:
Pay by Mail
Checks should be made payable to the Gloversville Enlarged School District (GESD). Mail check or money order, along with the appropriate bill stub to:

A pre-addressed return envelope is included in school tax bills for convenience.

School property tax rates are set in August for the upcoming school year. Tax rates are based on the total tax levy in the voter approved school budget, the state-determined equalization rates, and assessment rolls for each town. View your school tax bill online
