Thanks to the support of the Gloversville community and Hannaford, the Gloversville Enlarged School District’s Backpack Program is a successful beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program!
With community support, the GESD Backpack Program netted $387.25 in donations through the sale of 387 Fight Hunger Bags (& one $0.25 donation Fight Hunger Beverage Bag) during the month of March! This funding will enable the district to expand this pilot program ahead of schedule.
“We are grateful to Hannaford for partnering with us to benefit the students and families of the Gloversville school district,” said Interim Superintendent Robert DeLilli. “We look forward to future opportunities to partner with Hannaford.”
