The Gloversville Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is comprised of interested parents dedicated to funding activities and events that support our middle school students and teachers.  Every year fundraising efforts attempt to raise money for the reason mentioned. The following are just some of the events and activities that our PTO has helped pay for:

Field trips to Boston
Field trips to NYC
Roller Skating
Awards ceremonies
Fun Days for 6th 7th and 8th grades
Pizza parties
Ice cream parties
Professional Performers
Games for the VIP Lounge

Over the last three years, we have had less and less participation in our school-wide fundraisers. Many parents have commented that they would rather make donations than order from catalogs, as many of the items are “over-priced” and not needed.

In an effort to respond to this feedback, we are offering families the opportunity to make donations to the GMS PTO in any dollar amount. Donations will be collected in the main office of the middle school.  ALL (100%) of these donations will fund events and activities for your children.

We also welcome any new members interested in joining the non-profit organization. Meetings are held once a month on Wed. evenings at 6pm in the middle school library.
