
On Monday, February 13th, the girls' varsity basketball team held a Teacher/Staff Member Appreciation Night. Each member of the girls' varsity basketball team selected one teacher or staff member that has had a positive impact on their academic endeavors. Each member of the basketball team presented the teacher they had chosen with a certificate of appreciation, a long sleeve Lady Dragons t-shirt, and a flower.

GHS Class of 2024 presents the Someone Special Dance. March 18th at the Gloversville Middle School from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Tickets are available at your school's Main Office from Monday 02/13 through Wednesday 03/08. Tickets are pre-sale only. No tickets will be sold at the door on the day of. Congratulations to the GHS Band Members selected to participate in the 2023 FCMEA All County Music Festival 2/3 and 2/4 at Broadalbin-Perth High School.


Gloversville School District will open at normal times tomorrow, Friday February 3rd. A two hour delay would not see an improvement in temperature or windchill according to the forecast. Please be sure to bundle up with proper clothing, including coats, hats, gloves and boots.

Due to deteriorating weather conditions forecast for this this afternoon, GESD will be dismissing early today. GMS and GHS will dismiss at 12:40 PM and Elementary Schools will dismiss at 1:30 PM. All after school activities are canceled.


All after school activities, including athletics games and practices are cancelled.

January 24th - 27th, GHS will be holding Regents Exams. There will be NO CLASSES on these days. Scholars, if you attend CTC the buses will be running as normal. GHS will also be providing breakfast and lunch on these days. Stop in the Main Office with any questions.
