Building the Future, One Model at a Time 🏠

Scholars in Mr. Muhlberger’s PLTW Civil Engineering and Architecture class recently showcased their creativity and design skills by building cardboard model houses inspired by various architectural styles.

The styles represented included Farmhouse, Shed, Ranch, Bungalow, Cubic, Modern, and Cape Cod.

These hands-on projects gave scholars the opportunity to explore design principles, structural concepts, and the art of bringing ideas to life.
From concept to creation, their houses really tell a story 🏠

A Tradition of Giving: Steet Toyota Supports GESD Families
This morning, Steet Toyota stopped by Park Terrace Elementary to drop off boxes of clothing for GESD community members in need.

This marks the seventh year they’ve supported our district in this way — and we couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you, Steet Toyota, for your continued kindness and generosity toward our scholars and families.

We’re so thankful for community partners who go above and beyond to make a difference

🍁 Get Ready for the GESD Thanksgiving Food Drive! 🥫

The Gloversville Enlarged School District is coming together to help local families enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal. Our Food Drive is a chance for students, staff, and families to lend a helping hand and make a real difference this season.

You can start gathering items like boxed stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, dessert mixes, canned pie filling, and yams. 🧡

📦 Donations can be dropped off with the building secretaries at any GESD school through November 18 — Gloversville High School, Gloversville Middle School, Boulevard Elementary, Park Terrace Elementary, and Kingsborough Elementary.

Together, we can make this Thanksgiving a little brighter for families in our community.

🌟 What a Night! Literacy Under the Lights 📚🏈

The weather may have moved us inside, but the spirit of the night shined just as bright. Between Literacy Under the Lights and the Little Huskies Trunk or Treat, the gym was filled with energy, smiles, and community pride.

A huge thank you to our Football Team and Girls Soccer scholar-athletes for taking the time to be part of this event — reading with our youngest GESD scholars and making the night so special for everyone involved.

And an extra special thank you to Ms. Mott and Ms. Sterling and their talented middle school music students, who volunteered their time and talent to fill the gym with incredible music. 🎶 You truly brought the event to life.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came out and helped make the first-ever Literacy Under the Lights one to remember. We can’t wait for next year!
