Our Builders Club, led by Mr. Heroth, isn’t just about volunteering-it’s about embodying the GESD mentality of helping others and giving back to our community.
In January and February, some of our middle school scholars rolled up their sleeves at local food pantry events, supporting neighbors and showing that even small acts of service make a big impact. Their teamwork, care, and dedication reflect the heart of our Gloversville community.

Our Cleaning Crew, started by Vinnie Salvione, is made up of our hardworking GMS scholars from 6th, 7th, and 8th grade who not only keep up strong academics to participate but also dedicate their flex periods to helping around the school. 🧹✨
Today, our 7th grade crew spent the morning tidying up the auditorium after All-County weekend, showing pride in their school and lending a helping hand to keep GMS clean and welcoming!
These hardworking 6th grade GMS scholars earned 80s or higher in all core classes-and all that hard work will soon be celebrated in a delicious way! 🍎🍕👏
Keep up the amazing effort, scholars-you’ve earned it!

Attendance matters at GESD—every day.
When our scholars show up consistently, they build strong habits, stay connected to learning, and strengthen the foundation for future success. At Gloversville, attending today helps our scholars achieve tomorrow. 🏫📚

From Modified to Varsity, our players and coaches stepped up to help make the morning a success and raise funds for our program.
Pictured are some of our Modified Dragons, spending their Sunday morning giving back and representing our program the right way. 🐉🥞
We’re grateful for the continued support and pride shown across all levels of Gloversville Basketball.

May Dr. King’s message continue to inspire kindness, courage, and service in our schools and community.
