Thanksgiving Dinner Food Drive Distribution 🧡🦃
Today at Mt. Carmel Church, our community educator LaShawn Hawkins teamed up with our amazing community volunteers to distribute Thanksgiving dinner essentials to families across Gloversville Enlarged School District. Thanks to their hard work — along with the support of 44 Lakes, EmpowHERing Designs, our community partners, and the Gloversville Police Department who joined in to help prepare meals — over 500 dinners will be on the tables of community families tomorrow for the big day.
A heartfelt thank-you to our GMS and Boulevard food service workers for preparing all the turkeys, and to everyone who came together to make tomorrow a little brighter, warmer, and fuller for our families.

Join us Tomorrow, November 21 at 5:30 PM in the Gloversville High School Auditorium for a powerful, interactive theatre experience—“The Mystery Vape,” a choose-your-own-ending performance created and performed by members of the Glove City Coalition, including Key Club and the Scitamard Drama Club.
Designed to highlight the dangers of vaping and its short- and long-term impacts, this unique event puts our scholars and community at the center of real-time decision-making around healthy choices.

Today, our Kingsborough young scholars spent the morning with some special four-legged visitors from Good Choice Dog Training! 🐶
Our scholars loved watching the dogs in action as they ran through agility courses and showed off their impressive training. It was a fun, hands-on way to see how practice and patience lead to great results!

🌟 Congratulations to our Kingsborough Kindergarten Teacher, Ms. Julia Robare! 🌟
Ms. Robare recently applied for a Broadview Educator Grant, created to support innovation in education — and her proposal stood out among a large number of submissions! She was selected to receive a $500 grant to support her classroom.
Taking the initiative to pursue this opportunity, Ms. Robare is always looking for new ways to make learning meaningful and engaging for her young scholars. She plans to use the funds for:
🎨 Creative classroom projects
📚 New learning materials
🧸 Toys for thematic and imaginative play
🖥️ Technology and digital learning tools
🏫 Family engagement activities
✨ A classroom environment that supports all types of learners
