Our scholars flipped the calendar to 2026 in the best way — with more Golden Tickets at Kingsborough! 🎟️✨ These tickets are earned entirely outside of school, where scholars are recognized at local businesses for showing respect, responsibility, and kindness. We’re proud of how our young scholars represent Kingsborough throughout the community and grateful to our community partners for helping recognize those positive choices outside the classroom.

Scholars are stepping inside a giant inflatable Earth Dome this week, brought to life by the District, the PTA, and Mobile Ed Productions. Stretching nearly to the ceiling, the globe turns geography into an unforgettable, hands-on adventure!
Inside, scholars explore continents, oceans, time zones, and cultures using real satellite imagery—making big ideas feel real and tangible. And the best part? They get to walk inside the globe and see the world from a perspective few are ever able to experience.
This is the PTA’s second year bringing this “science museum in a school” experience to our elementary scholars during the winter months—and the excitement is just getting started.

The Gloversville vs. Johnstown Staff Basketball Game wasn’t just fun — it was a reminder of what this community does best: showing up for kids and supporting the game we love. From the energy in the stands to the smiles on the court, it was all for a great cause and for both basketball programs.
