What a fantastic start to our Kindergarten Kickoff series this morning! We packed the library with future scholars who had a blast practicing their early literacy and math skills, trying out some kid-friendly yoga, and wrapping up the morning with a special storytime with Sonny.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Wood for leading today's learning and making the first session so memorable! Every child went home with a smile and a free backpack packed with school supplies to kickstart their prep for the year ahead.

Tomorrow night, the Gloversville High School Class of 2026 takes the final walk of their high school journey! We are incredibly proud of the dedication, perseverance, and growth these scholars have shown to reach this milestone. ❤️
While we celebrate how far they've come, we know this is just the beginning. As our graduates step out into the world, we know they will continue to work hard, chase big goals, and proudly represent Gloversville wherever their next chapter takes them! ❤️

🏆 Field Day Spirit Triumphed Over the Rain!
What a memorable way to count down the final days of the school year. While the weather didn't cooperate for our tri-school Field Day, our scholars, staff, and volunteers didn't let the rain stop them from competing and having fun during our final week together.
Instead of canceling, everyone adapted quickly to the weather. Our scholars stayed focused, pushed through each event with great determination, and supported their teammates from start to finish.
A big thank you to our PE teachers, staff, and parent volunteers who worked hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. These moments capture exactly what it looks like when our scholars give it their all!

During this morning's community event at the Gloversville Transit station from 7:45 AM until 11:00 AM, a total of 240 local families received service with food and essentials. A major thank you goes to Target DC of Amsterdam and Saratoga for providing over 15 volunteers to assist with the distribution effort.

To celebrate, parents were treated to a special event where they became the very first audience to hear the story read aloud. Our talented young writers were also presented with certificates recognizing them as officially published authors.

We wrapped up the big celebration with a pizza party from The Pizza Joint. A huge thank you to The Pizza Joint for the delicious food, and an extra special thank you for printing the books, so our authors have a copy to hold onto forever! ❤️

Mrs. Martin’s dad, Lt. Col. Phillips, a retired pilot and former flight instructor at the Air Force Academy, spoke with scholars about his experiences flying in the USAF/ANG for more than 20 years before spending another 20+ years flying for Delta.
Scholars asked great questions about planes, flying, and the places he’s traveled, while also sharing their own aviation knowledge. They learned that Lt. Col. Phillips flew fighter planes, cargo planes, and commercial planes — and even reached 49,000 feet in the air. He also shared that the C-5 Galaxy is longer than the Wright brothers’ first flight!
Scholars left with their own foam glider and a C-5 fact sheet, and even learned that Mrs. Martin has flown a plane too. It was an unforgettable experience for our second graders!
