Scholar bankers earn rewards each time they make a deposit at school, and these top scholars — along with their classes — were treated to pizza, cocoa, and a pajama day in celebration of their efforts.
Scholar banking continues throughout the year, and scholars can still sign up to participate!

Please take a moment to review a statement from Superintendent Halloran providing clarification on recent district-related concerns:
Thank you for your continued support and best wishes for a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
Each year, as part of this annual GHS tradition, our seniors bring the magic of the season to life. They visited all 5 of our schools — and a few other treasured community spots — to drop off brand-new books for our scholars, sing Christmas carols, and spread holiday cheer across our community!
A huge thank you to:
The Cubby Faville Memorial Fund for making it possible for our seniors to deliver books to all students Pre-K through 5
The Berkshire Fire Department for hosting lunch and Bingo
Kelly DeMaio, Jacob Perron, and Stephanie Boger for their incredible help making The Santa Project a success
Rainbow Play School, the Gloversville Police and Fire Departments, and City Hall for welcoming our holiday cheer
Everyone in the GESD community who helps make this event possible every year!
We’re so grateful for the support that allows our seniors to share joy with the community each holiday season. 🎄📚❤️

Officer Brown, our District Resource Officer, along with some friends from the Gloversville Police Department, stopped by Park Terrace this morning to drop off donations for our Christmas Drive. Their generosity helped cover gifts for 16 children this year. ❤️🎄
The spirit of giving and community is alive and well this holiday season. #GESDCommunity
