
Thank you to everyone who supported the blood drive last week at GHS. We exceeded our goal of 20 units and collected 26 units of blood. That blood will be used to help save lives.

Today is the school budget vote as well as the Board of Education election.

Save the date for Project Clean Streets!


[GESD] GESD Phones are currently down. NERIC has informed us that this is also impacting the Northville and Mayfield School Districts. We will use cellular phones to contact parents and guardians if needed. We are planning a normal end to the school day.


This week at Boulevard we started our Boulevard Book Buddies. Our 5th graders pair up with our 3rd graders to spend time each morning reading and sharing books! We are hoping for some nice weather soon so our group can enjoy reading outside in the sunshine.





Mrs. Cornell's class is learning about forces. For today's science challenge, students had to design bridges using only paper, no tape or glue. They had to try and design a bridge that would hold the most pennies over a six inch span. The winning bridge held 119 pennies!





Boulevard 5th graders researched state landmarks in library class. Then they build those landmarks in Minecraft!





This is a friendly reminder that our Job Fair is tomorrow (Friday, April 29th) from 9am-11am at Gloversville High School. This event is open to the community and will have numerous agencies looking to hire. Attached is a map of the parking lot we would like everyone to use.


Today in Mrs. Casale’s class we worked on Series and Parallel Circuits, and the kids had a blast!



In honor of Arbor Day, the City of Gloversville Tree Commission will hold a tree planting event in Elk Street Park, 110 East Fulton Street, on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 4:30PM. Three trees will be planted on the newly expanded portion of Elk Street Park.

Camp Little Notch is an American Camp Association accredited camp for girls, located on 443 acres of pristine wilderness in the Adirondack Park in Fort Ann, Ny.


Mrs. Sweet's 5th grade AIS group at Boulevard School has been working on poetry. Students read a variety of poems, then chose their favorites to memorize. Some students were motivated to write and recite their own poems.





Third graders in Mrs. Morgese and Mrs. Monty’s classes adopted Peeps at Boulevard! They named them, made them homes, and wrote adventure stories about their Peeps!
