This is a friendly reminder that our Job Fair is tomorrow (Friday, April 29th) from 9am-11am at Gloversville High School. This event is open to the community and will have numerous agencies looking to hire. Attached is a map of the parking lot we would like everyone to use.
In honor of Arbor Day, the City of Gloversville Tree Commission will hold a tree planting event in Elk Street Park, 110 East Fulton Street, on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 4:30PM. Three trees will be planted on the newly expanded portion of Elk Street Park.

Students in the Gloversville Elementary schools have been participating all month in the Read for Ronald McDonald House Charities program (Read for RMHC). RMHC-CR is an organization dedicated to supporting children and families, especially those struggling with childhood illnesses and injuries. They work to keep families together and close to the care that they need.
Students were invited to join the Read for RMHC program, giving them the opportunity to volunteer their time to read and earn donations to support children and families in need in our community. Governor Hochul has announced that effective Wednesday March 2nd the mask mandate currently in place will be lifted for all NY State schools. This is due to the declining cases of Covid19 and the new CDC recommendations. Those who wish to continue wearing masks are free to do so.
Park Terrace students were asked to share random acts of kindness by writing them on hearts to be displayed at school. On Wednesday, all students celebrated their kind acts with sledding, hot chocolate and cookies.
